Disability Services for Students (DSS) Swag Button Design Contest
We’re celebrating over 15 years of Disability Awareness! As part of Disability Awareness Month, we invite all DSS students to participate in our Swag Button Design Contest. This is your chance to unleash your creativity and design a button that stands out and represents Disability Awareness.
Contest Overview
- Objective: Design a unique and creative button that highlights Disability Awareness.
- Eligibility: Open to all DSS students.
- Deadline: Submit your design by April 15, 2025.
- Winner Announcement: April 22, 2025, during our Senior Recognition event (attendance not required to win).
Design Guidelines
- Size: Circular button with a 2-inch diameter.
- Download the Button Template.
- Format: High-resolution JPEG or PNG file.
Content Requirements
- Original artwork only—no copyrighted material or third-party trademarks.
- Be creative, and bold, and have fun with your design!
How to Submit
Email your design, along with your name and phone number, between March 17 – April 15 to disability.services@sonoma.edu. There is no limit to the number of entries you may submit.
Selection Process
Entries will be evaluated based on
- Creativity
- Originality
- Visual impact for Disability Awareness
Prizes
Bragging rights! Your winning design will be featured on the DSS Swag table and at various events throughout the year. Plus, we’ll make some buttons for you to share with family and friends!
Important Notes
- The final selection of the Disability Awareness Swag Button is at DSS’s discretion.
- DSS reserves the right to make the necessary adaptations to the design for printing.
- All entries become the property of Disability Services and will not be returned.
