Director of Disability Services for Students, Sonoma State University
Brent serves as the Director of Disability Services for Students at Sonoma State University, where he has dedicated over 20 years to advancing accessibility and inclusion. His work focuses on helping the campus ensure equal access and opportunity for students with disabilities.
He holds a Master of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. Brent’s leadership and commitment to accessibility have been recognized through multiple awards, including the California Association for Postsecondary Education and Disability (CAPED) Professional Recognition Award (2019) and the Sonoma State University Strategic Plan Core Values Award (2019).
Originally from Portland, Oregon, and a transplant from Seattle, Brent is a devoted Seahawks and Mariners fan. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and engaging in outdoor activities.
