About
Mary Lenoir has served as a Disability Management Advisor in the Office of Disability Services for Students since August 2022, where she supports students seeking academic, housing, dietary, and emotional support or service animal accommodations. She brings over fifteen years of experience in both general and special education across primary and secondary settings.
Driven by a deep commitment to inclusion and advocacy, Mary focuses on empowering students to develop self-determination skills, build confidence, and navigate their educational journeys with independence and success.
Beyond her campus role, Mary has been an active community leader dedicated to supporting families and children with special needs. She co-founded Napa Valley Kids Connect, Inc., a nonprofit organization that funds communication training and inclusion programs in local schools, and previously chaired the Napa County SELPA Community Advisory Committee.
A first-generation college graduate, Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with CLAD from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She also earned her Education Specialist Credential and Master’s Degree in Special Education from Sonoma State University.
Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with family and friends, collecting and listening to vinyl records, exploring the Sonoma Coast, gardening, and caring for her lively flock of more than thirty wild hummingbirds.
