Apple includes assistive technology in its operating systems as standard features. The accessibility features can be found in most iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Mac OS X devices.

Use Otter to Transcribe a Zoom Meeting in a Web Browser Window
- Join a Zoom meeting with your web browser (Chrome recommended)
- Add a browser tab and log into Otter.ai
- Click on the Record button (microphone icon) when the Zoom meeting starts.
- Make sure that audio is coming from the speakers and do not use headphones.
- Leave the browser tab with Otter running in the background and bring your Zoom meeting tot he foreground (top-level) of your desktop
Use your Sonoma State email to create an Otter.ai account using either method below and you will be able to sync your accounts. This application (Mobile and Web app) is free. You will be given 600 minutes of recording time per month. If you are registered with DSS Services and are in need of additional minutes per month for note-taking accommodations, please contact disability.services@sonoma.edu for a premium account.
