Panopto is best for making and sharing original video content and making it easy to access in Canvas (Zoom is best for live online meetings).
Panopto content creators may edit or enhance auto-captions
Panopto auto-generates word clouds, keywords, transcriptions, and auto-captions
Videos may be enhanced with embedded quiz questions and link documents for download
Although videos created with Panopto may include closed-captions, students registered with DSS and qualify for an accommodation related to captioning should notify the DSS Altmedia Center to review captioning needs for each course before the start of the semester
