  • Identify a safe space to go, support programs, and find people to connect with to minimize impact.

How to Further Development

  • Connect with trusted people/campus support staff or therapists to develop a regulation plan to minimize the frequency of overwhelm.
  • Discuss prevention strategies and how to navigate overwhelm when it occurs. 
  • Routinely practice self-care activities in a calm setting, so relief is more accessible in times of stress.
